Family Law Experts
We know how stressful and painful family law issues can be. Having a child arrangement order in place can give both parents peace of mind or can make it clear what should happen with children if you can’t come to an agreement. Depending on your circumstances there are an array of options that can be put into child arrangement orders by the court.
If you want access to your child and another parent or guardian is not allowing, we can help in negotiating with them and applying to the court if we can’t reach an agreement.
If you have custody of your child and their other parent, or other relatives such as grandparents are trying to get visitation or even remove the children from your care, we can assist with defending you at court.
We offer a free initial appointment to discuss the options with you and advise you of the likely costs including if you would be eligible for legal aid or not.

Mediation is a non-confrontational way to settle issues and if both parties are able to come to an agreement then it can be the quickest and easiest way to make decisions about children or other factors when separating.
The Court requires mediation to be attempted before anyone can issue proceedings for a child arrangement order and therefore you have to try this before we are able to assist you in issuing proceedings. Sometimes issues are not able to be settled at mediation, and sometimes one person will refuse to engage in mediation. If mediation is not successful then the mediation service will issue a letter explaining why and you can proceed to court proceedings.
